(OH-15) – State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) announced today that his congressional campaign scored a major county party endorsement this week, winning the overwhelming support of the Madison County Republican Party.
Demonstrating his broad grassroots support across the 15th district, Peterson outperformed his primary rivals on the first ballot by nearly three-to-one.
"Bob has worked tirelessly to reach every part of this district, and the endorsement he picked up here in Madison County shows that voters are listening," said Sue Hackett, county party executive committee member and wife of State Senator Bob Hackett, who previously endorsed Peterson's campaign. "This is a part of the district he doesn't currently represent in the Senate, so it says a lot about how much he's worked to connect with people here and win their votes."
Peterson thanked the Madison County GOP for their support, adding, “This endorsement proves that voters in the 15th district want a leader with a proven conservative record and a willingness to get out there and earn their vote. No one else in this race has gathered support from more than 100 local leaders in every county in the district. I'm proud to stand with them as we work to fire Nancy Pelosi, fight the radical Biden agenda and put America First again."
