(OH-15) – State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) announced today that he has earned the endorsement of Ross County Republican Party Chair Diane Carnes and GOP Women's Club Leader Penny Lamb in his race for Congress.
Carnes, a local realtor, former Chillicothe Councilwoman, and GOP mainstay in Ross County, has served as a delegate to several Republican National Conventions in addition to serving as GOP Chair.
“As our State Senator, Bob Peterson has upheld the conservative values of cutting taxes and government waste, protecting life, and standing up for our Second Amendment,” Chairwoman Carnes said. “Steve Stivers represented our district proudly in Washington and as our Congressman, I know that Bob Peterson will do the same.”
Penny Lamb serves as chairwoman of the Ross County GOP Women's Club, one of the most robust women's organizations in Ohio.
"Bob Peterson has faithfully served our area so proudly for many years in the Statehouse and I cannot wait for him to represent us in Congress," Lamb said.
Senator Peterson said he was honored to have the endorsement of Carnes and Lamb.
“I couldn’t imagine better campaign co-chairs for Ross County than Diane and Penny and I am grateful for their endorsement,” Senator Peterson said. "They have done tremendous work for the Republican Party in our area and I am honored to have their support."
