(OH-15) – State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) announced today that State Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) has endorsed his campaign for Congress.
Hottinger, who currently serves as the second highest-ranking member of the Ohio Senate, represents Perry County, which is part of the 15th congressional district.
“I've worked alongside Bob Peterson in the legislature since 2011, and he's exactly the kind of conservative leader we need in Congress," said Senator Hottinger. "He's the definition of a public servant, who's always looking for a solution rather than a spotlight. Bob has been a key part of Ohio's economic recovery over the past decade, balancing budgets, lowering taxes and giving job creators the tools they need to get Ohioans back to work. That's the kind of experience we need working for us in Washington, and I'm proud to support his campaign."
Peterson praised Senator Hottinger's record of service and thanked him for his endorsement.
“Jay is a respected and accomplished state legislator that has served Perry County and Ohio admirably," said Peterson. "I'm honored to have his endorsement in this race, and I look forward to working alongside him for the people of the 15th congressional district."
